My Story
Allow me to introduce myself and
Welcome to my world of woodcraft and creativity! I’m Joe Carvalho, but most people know me as JoJo. I’ve spent most of my career in the roads and transportation sector, but it’s my lifelong passion for woodworking that truly defines me. Today, I am excited to share my crafts from my new home at the E&B Clark Mill in Princeton, Ontario, Canada, where every piece of wood tells a story.
Woodworking has always been a significant part of my life. Whether constructing decks, patios, or rustic timber structures, I find joy in turning simple materials into structures that bring people together. Now, as I begin a new chapter at E&B Clark Mill, my connection with wood has taken on an even deeper meaning.
At the mill, I've witnessed countless cut-offs and rejected lumber pieces destined to become nothing more than firewood. Seeing the potential in what others might overlook, I decided to breathe new life into these discarded pieces. Each slice of wood, with its unique grain and character, held the possibility of transformation.
With a combination of traditional woodworking techniques and modern technology, I repurpose these materials into beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind items. From tasteful home décor to sentimental gifts, each piece is designed to celebrate the beauty and resilience of wood.
Expanding my craft, I have incorporated laser engraving into my repertoire. This technology allows me to add intricate details and personalized messages to my creations, making each piece even more special. Whether it’s a heartfelt gift or a custom piece for your home or office cottage, trailer, my work combines craftsmanship with a personal touch.
I invite you to explore my collection and see how discarded wood can be transformed into treasures. Each piece not only carries the warmth of natural wood but also tells a unique story of its origins and my journey as a craftsman. Whether you are looking for something special for yourself or a loved one, discover the possibilities through my creations.
Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to sharing my passion for woodworking with you.
Warm regards,
JoJo Joe Carvalho
